Welcome to this week’s edition of our tournament winners' recap! Here’s a look at the top performances from the past week:
Watersound Invitational
Division: D1 Men’s Golf
Winner: Florida State claimed victory at the Shark’s Tooth Golf Course tournament in Panama City Beach, Florida. Junior Luke Clanton led the way with a historic performance, carding eight birdies and three eagles for a combined 11-under.
Wexford Intercollegiate
Division: D1 Men’s Golf
Winner: Xavier secured the Wexford Intercollegiate title at Wexford Golf Course in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The team led the field in par-three and par-five scoring and ranked second in total birdies.
Battle at Dunes
Division: D2 Women’s Golf
Winner: Wingate captured the Battle at Dunes title at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Freshman Amely Bochaton dominated, sweeping both team and individual honors with an even-par 72.
2025 Islander Classic
Division: D1 Women’s Golf
Winner: Texas A&M-Corpus Christi triumphed at the Islander Classic at Corpus Christi Country Club, winning by a commanding 13-stroke margin. Samantha Gibbs led the team, also claiming the individual title.
Loyola Intercollegiate
Division: D1 Men’s Golf
Winner: Richmond dominated the Loyola Intercollegiate, securing a 10-shot victory with a team score of 29-under par—the lowest tournament score in program history by five strokes.
Great River Cup
Division: D1 Women’s Golf
Winner: The University of Louisiana Monroe emerged victorious at Windance Country Club in Gulfport, MS, sweeping all three match-play rounds against Utah Valley, Arkansas State, and James Madison.
Mesquite Desert Classic
Division: D1 Men’s Golf
Winner: Utah Valley State clinched the title at CasaBlanca Resort, Casino, Golf & Spa in Mesquite, NV. The team posted a final-round 6-under-par 282 to finish at 21-under-par 843 (284-277-282), winning by three strokes over host Eastern Kentucky, Cal Poly, and Utah Tech.
Border Olympics
Division: D1 Men’s Golf
Winner: Louisiana claimed victory at Laredo Country Club in Laredo, TX. Malan Potgieter led the charge with a 1-under-par 70, helping place three team members in the top 11.
Moon Golf Invitational
Division: D1 Women’s Golf
Winner: Florida State secured the title at Suntree Country Club in Melbourne, FL. Lottie Woad tied for the individual championship, leading the team to a three-stroke win over Wake Forest and earning their program-record third consecutive team title.
Saint Leo Invitational
Division: D2 Men’s Golf
Winner: Saint Leo hosted and won their home tournament at Lake Jovita Country Club, finishing with a team score of 855 (nine-under).
