Cindy Hsu Standout Star at Texas
Hsu, a graduate of CTBC International Academy in Tainan City, Taiwan, has established herself as one of the top golfers in NCAA Division I. According to Clippdd, she is currently ranked No. 42 in Division I and No. 33 according to the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR). Her outstanding performances have earned her numerous accolades, including being named to the All-Big 12 Team and securing the individual medalist title at the World Amateur Team Championships.
Before joining Texas, Hsu had an impressive run at CTBC, winning several prestigious tournaments that set the foundation for her career. Her victories include the 2020 Las Vegas Future Champions National Open, the 2021 IMG Junior World Championships, and the 2021 Future Champions Challenge. She was also a member of the Taiwan National Team in 2021.
Hsu’s consistency on the course has led to remarkable success, including a T10 finish at the NCAA Championships—making her only the second freshman since 2000 to achieve a top-10 finish at the event. She recorded four top-10 finishes during the season, including an eighth-place result in her collegiate debut at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate. Additionally, she has achieved 13 rounds at par or better this season.
