Virginia Rises to No. 1 in Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll After Consistent Fall

Virginia moved to No. 1 in the latest Bushnell Golfweek Division I Coaches Poll released October 31, following a fall stretch that included four finishes inside the top two. The Cavaliers posted wins at the Ben Hogan Collegiate presented by Charles Schwab (shared title) and the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate, earning 18 first place votes and 543 total points.

LSU climbed to No. 2 with two first place votes, followed by Vanderbilt at No. 3 with one first place vote. Texas and Arizona State completed the top five.

Illinois, Auburn, Florida, Oklahoma State (one first place vote), and Ole Miss rounded out the top 10.

The poll included 17 additional programs receiving votes. The next update to the Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll will be released in early 2026.
