Paula Martín Sampedro Sets Record in European Ladies’ Amateur Victory

Paula Martín Sampedro of Spain captured the 2025 European Ladies’ Amateur Championship at Frankfurter Golf Club in Germany with a wire-to-wire performance that set a new tournament scoring record. The Stanford University standout finished 23 under par across four rounds, posting scores of 67, 68, 63, and 67.

Her third-round 63, played without a bogey, separated her from the field and secured a six-shot victory. With the win, Martín Sampedro becomes just the seventh player ever to win both the European Ladies’ Amateur and the Women’s Amateur Championship.

Organized by the European Golf Association, the championship is one of the premier events in women’s amateur golf and annually features many of the top players from across Europe.
