Oklahoma State Claims 2025 NCAA Men’s Golf Championship

Oklahoma State has captured its 12th NCAA Men’s Golf Championship, defeating Virginia 4–1 in the match-play final at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. It marks the Cowboys’ first national title since 2018 and reinforces their place among the elite programs in college golf.

Entering as the No. 4 seed, Oklahoma State advanced through the bracket with a 3.5–1.5 win over Oklahoma in the quarterfinals and a tight 3–2 semifinal victory against Ole Miss.

In the championship match, the Cowboys took control early. Filip Fahlberg-Johnsson earned the opening point with a 3&1 win, followed by Gaven Lane’s 4&3 victory. Eric Lee secured the clinching point with a 2-up result, while Bo Jin halved his match and Virginia’s Bryan Lee notched the Cavaliers’ only win.

With three match play wins in two days, Oklahoma State closed out a dominant postseason and added another chapter to its storied history.
