Malixi and Talley Share Medalist Honors at U.S. Women’s Amateur
Rianne Malixi of Duke and Asterisk Talley of the United States tied for medalist honors after two rounds of stroke play at the 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur at Bandon Dunes. Both finished at 9 under 135. Malixi, from the Philippines, carded rounds of 68 and 67, while Talley shot 69 and 66. The two also met in last year’s championship match at Southern Hills.
Thailand’s Eila Galitsky (University of South Carolina) finished third at 8 under after a second-round 66. Vanessa Borovilos of Canada (Texas A&M), Lyla Louderbaugh (University of Kansas), and Catherine Rao (Princeton) tied for fourth at 7 under.
The cut is projected at 1 over, with a playoff scheduled this morning to determine the final spots in the match-play field. The Round of 64 begins today, Wednesday.
