Luke Coyle Wins Southeastern Amateur Title in Georgia

Luke Coyle of the University of Kentucky won the 56th Southeastern Amateur at the Country Club of Columbus in Georgia, defeating Carson Baez of the University of Richmond in a playoff. Coyle posted rounds of 66, 67, and 68 to finish at 201. Baez matched that total, forcing a playoff, where Coyle secured the title with a birdie on the first extra hole.

The win marks Coyle’s second victory this summer, following his 21-under finish at the Dogwood Invitational earlier this month. In that event, he closed with a bogey-free 65 to win by six shots.

Coyle's performance continues a strong run for the Kentucky standout, who has emerged as one of the top amateurs this summer.
