Grace Jin Repeats as Women’s Texas Amateur Champion at Corpus Christi Country Club

Grace Jin of Southern Methodist University defended her 2024 title at the 104th Women’s Texas Amateur, defeating Tillie Claggett of Spring, Texas, 2 and 1. The match took place at Corpus Christi Country Club in Corpus Christi, Texas.

In the semifinal, Jin narrowly defeated Shannon Fish before meeting Claggett. Claggett advanced after a 19‑hole semifinal win against Bentley Cotton.

Jin’s victory secures her automatic entry into the 125th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship to be held at Bandon Dunes in Oregon.
