Kansas Head Coach Lindsay Kuhle Named LPGA Central Coach of the Year

Kansas head coach Lindsay Kuhle has been recognized as the LPGA Central Coach of the Year, adding another milestone to a rapidly rising program under her leadership.

Now in her fifth season at Kansas, Kuhle has guided the Jayhawks to eight team victories, including a program record six wins in 2024 to 2025. Kansas also earned a title this season at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational from October 6 to 7, continuing the program’s momentum after its 2025 NCAA Championship appearance, the program’s first since 2014.

Kansas finished the 2024 to 2025 season ranked No. 23 in the final WGCA poll, the highest end of season ranking in school history. Kuhle has since positioned the Jayhawks at No. 32 in the latest Scoreboard ranking as they look to continue their rise in the spring.

During her tenure, Kuhle has overseen three straight NCAA Regional appearances, a 2025 NCAA Regional team and individual title led by Lyla Louderbaugh, and the program’s highest final ranking at No. 21 following the 2024 to 2025 season. She has also coached:

  • 21 WGCA All America Scholars

  • Two Big 12 Golfers of the Month (Jordan Rothman, Lauren Clark)

  • One WGCA All America honoree (Lauren Clark)

  • One Big 12 All Conference performer (Lauren Clark, 2025)

  • One Big 12 All Tournament selection (Esme Hamilton, 2023)

Kuhle’s sustained success has solidified Kansas as a national contender and built a foundation that continues to grow with each season.
