Huai-Chien Hsu Leads LNGA Amateur Championship After Round Two
Huai-Chien Hsu of Taiwan and the University of Texas moved to the top of the leaderboard at the LNGA Amateur Championship at The Home Course with a second-round 67. Hsu sits at 7-under total after rounds of 70 and 67, giving her a two-shot lead heading into the final round.
Tied for second at 5-under are Bentley Cotton, a University of Texas alum, and Indiana University alum Caroline Smith. Both players posted matching scores of 71 and 68 to sit at 139.
Three players are tied for fourth at 4-under. Ava Merrill of Vanderbilt University recorded a second-round 67, while Jie-En Lin of Taiwan shot 70 for the second straight day.
The top ten also includes players from China, Singapore, and the United States, representing a competitive and international leaderboard.
