Jon Ed Steed Wins Magnolia Amateur with Final-Round 65 at Hattiesburg Country Club
Jon Ed Steed, an incoming freshman at Vanderbilt University, captured the 2025 Magnolia Amateur Championship on Thursday with a final-round 65 to finish at 14 under 199 at Hattiesburg Country Club.
Steed opened the event with rounds of 66 and 68 to position himself near the top of the leaderboard. On Thursday, he surged ahead with a bogey-free 65, highlighted by five birdies on the back nine, including four in a row on holes 11 through 14.
