Nicolas Dominguez Leads Magnolia Amateur After Round Two
Nicolas Dominguez of the University of Southern California holds the lead at the Magnolia Amateur after two rounds at Hattiesburg Country Club. Dominguez followed his opening 65 with a second-round 67 to reach 10-under par and take a one-shot advantage into the final round.
Tied for second at 9-under are Jackson Benge of the University of Nebraska and Grant Doggett of the University of Houston. Benge fired a 65 on Friday, while Doggett opened with a 63 before shooting 70 in round two.
Three players are tied for fourth at 8-under: Ethan Dial of Texas Christian University, Jon Ed Steed of Vanderbilt University, and Seth Campbell of Louisiana Tech University. Dial recorded the low round of the day with a 64.
