Dozer Earns Medalist Honors at Arizona Amateur

Round Two of the Arizona Amateur at Seville Golf & Country Club in Gilbert saw Phoenix native Jack Dozer (University of Denver) separate himself from the field with a 62, moving to 15-under 129 for the tournament.

Dozer carries a two-shot lead into the third round over Cody Massa of Cave Creek and Wyatt Chapman (Marquette University), both at 13-under. Close behind is a three-way tie at 12-under featuring Grant Cesarek of Tucson, Chris Large of Scottsdale, and Frederick Egnatios of Scottsdale.

Mesa’s Wyatt Johnson remains in striking distance at 11-under after a 65, while three players share eighth place at 10-under, including Daniel Henely (University of the Pacific), Brian Blanchard of Scottsdale, and Kobe Valociek (Kansas State alum).
