Delisanti Fires Course Record 64 to Take Lead at NYS Men’s Amateur

Anthony Delisanti delivered a dominant second round at the 2025 New York State Men’s Amateur Championship, firing a course record 64 at Yahnundasis Golf Club to surge into the lead. The Willowbrook Golf Course representative and standout at Valparaiso University now sits at five under par for the tournament with a two-round total of 137.

Delisanti’s round featured eight birdies and just one bogey, including a closing stretch of four birdies over his final six holes. His 64 not only set the course record but vaulted him past several contenders on the leaderboard heading into Thursday’s third round.

Chris Blyth of RDGA eClub is one shot back at four under after posting a 68. Matthew Lowe of MGA eClub Long Island sits in solo third at two under following a matching 68.

James Allen (Scarsdale Golf Club) and Jeff March (Penfield Country Club) are tied for fourth at one under. Jackson Saroney (Drumlins Golf Club, Penn State University) and Charlie Fischer (East Aurora Country Club, Mercer University) share sixth at even par.

Three players are tied for eighth at one over: Anthony Maglisco (Pompey Club, Lenoir Rhyne University), John Hiller (Westchester Country Club, Duke University), and Donte Groppuso (Wiltwyck Golf Club, Florida Southern College).
