2025 NCAA Women’s Golf Regionals Field Announced

The road to the NCAA Championship in Carlsbad, California, is officially underway. The NCAA released the full field for the 2025 Division I Women’s Golf Regionals, featuring 72 teams and 36 individual qualifiers competing at six regional sites from May 5–7. The top five teams and the lowest individual score not on an advancing team from each site will move on to the national championship, set for May 16–21 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.

Charlottesville Regional (Birdwood Golf Course – Virginia)

Top seed South Carolina leads the field, joined by Virginia, Ole Miss, Florida, and UCLA among others. Ivy League champion Princeton and Big South’s Radford also earned berths.
Notable individual qualifiers include Pinky Chaisilprungruang (Charlotte) and Hannah Altman (UNC Wilmington).

Columbus Regional (OSU Golf Club – Ohio State)

Arkansas headlines the site hosted by Ohio State, followed by LSU, Kansas, and Houston. Mid-majors like Kent State and Oakland fill out the field.
Key individuals include Isabella McCauley (Minnesota) and Vanessa Zhang (Harvard).

Gold Canyon Regional (Superstition Mountain G&CC – Arizona)

Oregon earns the No. 1 seed, joined by Arizona State, Auburn, and Mississippi State. San Jose State and Sacramento State represent strong mid-major contenders.
Individual standouts include Vivian Lu (Washington) and Janae Leovao (Long Beach State).

Lexington Regional (Keene Trace GC – Kentucky)

Florida State takes the top spot, followed by USC, TCU, Vanderbilt, and Kansas State. Pepperdine and Western Kentucky are among other strong entries.
Individual qualifiers include Emma Bunch (New Mexico State) and Jasmine Driscoll (Ball State).

Lubbock Regional (The Rawls Course – Texas Tech)

Top-ranked Texas is joined by Wake Forest, Arizona, Texas A&M, and Iowa State. Other teams include Campbell and Texas A&M–Corpus Christi.
Individual contenders include Ryann Honea (Abilene Christian) and Chantal El Chaib (Georgia).

Norman Regional (Jimmie Austin GC – Oklahoma)

Stanford leads a competitive field that includes Northwestern, UNC, Michigan State, and host Oklahoma. Tulsa, Furman, and Southern Mississippi round out the lineup.
Notable individual entries include Riana Mission (San Francisco) and Cynthia Zhang (Boston College).

Twenty-eight conferences received automatic qualification, with the remainder of the field filled via at-large selections. These regional events serve as the gateway to the NCAA Championship, with national policies governing all aspectsof play.
