Bo Blanchard Captures 2025 Georgia Amateur Title

Augusta University’s Bo Blanchard delivered a commanding wire-to-wire performance to win the 104th Georgia Amateur Championship at Atlanta Country Club, finishing at 16 under par with a four-round total of 264.

Blanchard opened with a 63 on Thursday to grab the solo lead and never looked back. He followed it with rounds of 67, 66, and 68, fending off a late push from runner-up Alex Ross, who finished three shots behind at 267.

Blanchard’s 54-hole total of 196 tied the tournament scoring record entering the final day. He became the first Augusta Jaguar to win the Georgia Amateur since Carter Newman in 2010 and is believed to be the first wire-to-wire champion since 2014.

With the victory, Blanchard adds a major state title to his amateur résumé and continues a strong summer season after a standout spring with Augusta.
