Augusta University Joins West Coast Conference for Golf
Augusta University’s men’s and women’s golf programs will join the West Coast Conference as affiliate members beginning in the 2025–26 season, moving from the Southland Conference. The change provides both teams with an automatic path to NCAA postseason play.
The men’s team, which has competed without a full conference home since 2021, won the Southland title the past three seasons and placed 28th at the 2025 NCAA Championship. The program has appeared in 12 NCAA Regionals and won national championships in 2010 and 2011.
The women’s team finished fourth at the 2025 Southland Championship, with sophomore Zoe Pinillos advancing to NCAA Regionals as an individual. The Jaguars have earned seven NCAA Regional berths since 2011.
In the WCC, Augusta will compete against Gonzaga, Loyola Marymount, Pacific, Pepperdine, Saint Mary’s, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Seattle, and affiliate members Oregon State and Washington State.
