Andrea Revuelta Sets Course Record at Golf de Chantilly as Spain Moves to the Top at European Amateur Team Championship
Andrea Revuelta of Spain and Stanford University fired a bogey-free 65 at Golf de Chantilly’s Vineuil Course to set a new course record and take the solo lead at the European Amateur Team Championship. Her seven-under round helped push Spain to the top of the team standings through two rounds of stroke play.
Beth Coulter of Ireland and Arizona State University sits one shot back at six under. Tied for third at two under are Paula de Francisco of Spain and the University of South Florida, Chiara Horder of Germany and Texas Tech University, and Carolina Lopez-Chacarra of Spain and Wake Forest University.
Spain leads the team competition at two under par, with France in second at four over and Sweden in third at eleven over. The top eight teams after stroke play will advance to the match play bracket.
