2025–2026 Fred Haskins Award Preseason Watch List Coming August 25

The 2025–2026 Haskins Award Preseason Watch List will be released on August 25, highlighting early contenders for one of the most prestigious honors in college golf.

Presented by Stifel, the Fred Haskins Award is given each year to the top male collegiate golfer. It is the oldest individual award in college golf and has recognized many of the sport’s future stars.

The watch list is compiled by a panel of Golfweek and Golf Channel writers and includes players selected based on past performance, current form, and projected impact. The list is not final and will be updated throughout the season as new players emerge.

Last year’s winner was David Ford of North Carolina, whose name now appears on the base of the award alongside past recipients.
