Wake Forest Alum Mimi Rhodes Named 2025 LET Rookie of the Year

Wake Forest graduate Mimi Rhodes has been named the 2025 Ladies European Tour Rookie of the Year after an outstanding debut season that included three victories and consistent finishes across the schedule. Rhodes becomes the eighth English player to earn the award, joining names such as Charley Hull, Mel Reid, and Laura Davies.

The 23-year-old secured her LET card through the 2024 Lalla Aicha Q School and quickly made her mark by winning the Ford Women’s NSW Open in just her fourth professional start. She followed that performance with back-to-back victories, capturing the Joburg Ladies Open and Dutch Ladies Open to claim three wins in a span of four events.

Rhodes also delivered strong results throughout the remainder of the season, including a tie for 19th at the AIG Women’s Open, two additional top-ten finishes, and five top-fifteen results overall. She captained her team to victory at the Aramco China Championship and currently ranks second in the Race to Costa del Sol standings, 219.26 points behind leader Shannon Tan of Singapore heading into the final event of the year.

With one tournament remaining on the schedule, Rhodes has earned 2,192.48 points in 21 events and holds an unassailable lead in the rookie standings. A first-place finish at the season-ending Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho would make her the eighth player to win both the Rookie of the Year and Order of Merit titles in the same season.

The LET season concludes November 27–30 at Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf in Málaga, Spain.
