Virginia’s Ben James Leads First Full PGA TOUR University Ranking of 2025-26

The first full PGA TOUR University Ranking of the 2025-26 season has been released, with Ben James (Virginia) retaining the No. 1 position. James, ranked No. 2 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, recently contributed to the U.S. Walker Cup victory at Cypress Point and will begin his senior campaign Sept. 15–16 at The Invitational at The Honors Course.

Michael La Sasso (Ole Miss) follows at No. 2, while Christiaan Maas (Texas) sits at No. 3 after a T6 finish at the Sahalee Players Championship. Jase Summy (Oklahoma) and Tommy Morrison (Texas) round out the top five, both also competing at the Walker Cup.

Pepperdine’s Brady Siravo surged into the rankings at No. 22 after capturing the Sahalee Players Championship, his second collegiate win. Other standouts include Wells Williams (Vanderbilt) at No. 6, Michael Alexander Mjaaseth (Arizona State) at No. 7, and Filip Jakubcik (Arizona) at No. 10.

The PGA TOUR University Ranking is updated weekly on Wednesdays and will continue throughout the 2025-26 season. Registration for eligible players in the Class of 2026 remains open until December 1, 2025.
