Tyler Neidel and Honorine Nobuta Ferry Win Titles at Texas Junior Amateur

Tyler Neidel of Lakeway and Honorine Nobuta Ferry of Flower Mound won the Boys and Girls 15 to 18 Divisions of the 99th Texas Junior Amateur at Horseshoe Bay Resort.

Neidel, a 2025 graduate, shot rounds of 72, 67, and 68 to finish at 6 under par and win by two shots. He birdied his final hole on the Ram Rock course to pull away from a three-way tie for second that included Lucas Latimer of Rockwall, Jace Hulett of Boerne, and Jaxson Henegar of Dallas, all at 4 under.

In the Girls Division, Nobuta Ferry closed with a bogey-free 65 to finish at 11 under par. The 2028 graduate led all players across all divisions and finished six shots ahead of Gia Ahlowalia of Southlake. Shyla Brown of Dallas placed third at 4 under after a final round 69.
