Sewanee Rises to No. 1 in Bushnell/Golfweek DIII Coaches Poll
Sewanee has claimed the top spot in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll after securing a victory at the Gate City Invitational on September 16. The Tigers earned seven first-place votes and 351 points in the September 19 ranking.
Carnegie Mellon followed at No. 2 with three first-place votes and 327 points. Washington and Lee and Oglethorpe shared the No. 3 position, with Washington and Lee collecting one first-place vote. Huntingdon rounded out the top five with 312 points.
Emory, Methodist, Illinois Wesleyan, Aurora, and Kenyon completed the top 10. Methodist received three first-place votes to land at No. 7.
