North Georgia Moves to No. 1 in Bushnell/Golfweek DII Coaches Poll

North Georgia has climbed to the top of the Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll after two strong starts to the season. The Nighthawks followed a runner-up finish in their opener with a dominant 15-stroke victory at the Savannah Lakes Fall Invitational on September 9. They earned eight first-place votes and 481 points in the September 19 ranking.

West Florida sits at No. 2 with five first-place votes and 415 points. Georgia Southwestern is No. 3 with 405 points, followed by Central Oklahoma at No. 4 with three first-place votes and 379 points. Lee completed the top five with 365 points.

Lander, Florida Southern, Oklahoma Christian, Wingate, and Grand Valley State rounded out the top 10.
