San Jose State Wins Jim DeLapa Collegiate at Point O’Woods
San Jose State secured the team title at the inaugural Jim DeLapa Collegiate, finishing at 15 under at Point O’Woods Golf and Country Club in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Princeton placed second at 10 under, followed by Saint Mary’s (CA) in third at 9 under. Michigan finished fourth at 5 under, while Cincinnati rounded out the top five at 4 under.
Individually, Michigan’s Dean Muratore claimed first place at 14 under, edging San Jose State’s Keshav Mungali, who finished runner-up at 13 under. Princeton’s Riccardo Fantinelli was third at 10 under, while Cincinnati’s Ryan Ford and San Jose State’s Ivan Barahona tied for fourth at 6 under.
Other top finishes included Pacific’s Deitrek Gill in sixth at 5 under, Grand Canyon’s Daniel Nilsson and Eastern Michigan’s Charlie Box tied for seventh at 4 under, Florida Gulf Coast’s Sacha Ruiz in ninth at 3 under, and Michigan’s RJ Arone in tenth at 2 under.
