Cincinnati Claims Team Lead at Jim DeLapa Collegiate

Cincinnati sits atop the leaderboard after the opening rounds of the Jim DeLapa Collegiate at Point O’Woods Golf and Country Club, hosted by Central Michigan. The Bearcats finished at 7 under par, three shots ahead of Princeton.

Princeton holds second place at 5 under, while St. Mary’s (CA), Michigan, and San Jose State are tied for third at 4 under. Pacific is sixth at 2 under, followed by Grand Canyon at 1 under. Florida Gulf Coast (+2), San Francisco (+3), and Northern Illinois (+4) round out the top 10. Eastern Michigan sits in 11th at 8 over.

A three-way tie for fifth includes Grand Canyon’s Matthew Diehl, Central Michigan’s Philippe Yturralde, and Princeton’s Riccardo Fantinelli, all at 5 under. Grand Canyon’s Daniel Nilsson, Pacific’s Deitrek Gill, and Michigan’s RJ Arone are tied for eighth at 4 under.
