Lottie Woad Wins 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open as Amateur
World No. 1 amateur Lottie Woad captured the 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open at Carton House Golf Club in Kildare, Ireland, finishing at 21 under par with a final-round 67 to win by six shots over Alexandra Försterling.
The Florida State senior became the first amateur to win the event since its return to the Ladies European Tour, adding to a historic run that began with her 2024 Augusta National Women’s Amateur title. Woad led from start to finish with rounds of 68, 67, 67, and 69.
With the win, Woad moves closer to earning LPGA membership through the tour’s point system. Once she reaches 20 points, she can either accept immediate membership or defer it and play one full season starting in 2026.
Her career at FSU is among the most decorated in program and amateur golf history:

Top 10 Finishes: 27
Collegiate Wins: 5
Weeks at WAGR No. 1: 50 and counting
