Huntingdon Returns to No. 1 in Division III Coaches Poll After Strong Fall

Huntingdon moved to No. 1 in the latest Bushnell Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll for the first time since October 2017, following a consistent fall highlighted by three top three finishes in four starts. The Hawks posted back to back victories at the Tartan Invitational on October 14 and the O’Briant Jensen Memorial on October 28, earning 13 first place votes and 386 total points in the October 31 release.

Emory, the previous No. 1, finished two points behind at 384 with three first place votes. Carnegie Mellon, Illinois Wesleyan, and Mary Hardin Baylor rounded out the top five.

Sewanee, Methodist, Washington and Lee, Aurora, and Oglethorpe completed the top 10. A total of 16 additional programs received votes, and the poll will resume in early 2026.
