Great Britain & Ireland Names 2025 Walker Cup Team

Great Britain & Ireland have confirmed their ten-player squad for the 2025 Walker Cup at Cypress Point Club in Pebble Beach, set for September 6 and 7. Captain Dean Robertson will lead the team against the United States in the 50th edition of the event.

  • Cameron Adam won the St Andrews Links Trophy, competed in The Open, and played in the St Andrews Trophy.

  • Eliot Baker captured the Scottish Open and Portuguese Amateur and helped England to victory in the Home Internationals.

  • Dominic Clemons earned multiple collegiate titles in the United States and added a Scottish Open win.

  • Charlie Forster, a Long Beach State graduate, won the Lake Las Vegas Invitational and played in the Arnold Palmer Cup.

  • Connor Graham, now at Texas Tech, was stroke play medalist at consecutive Amateur Championships and previously competed in the Walker Cup and Junior Ryder Cup.

  • Stuart Grehan returned to amateur golf in April and won both the Irish Open and Irish Close titles.

  • Luke Poulter, a Florida junior, won the Schenkel Invitational and represented GB&I in the Arnold Palmer Cup.

  • Niall Shiels Donegan of North Carolina reached the semifinals of the U.S. Amateur at Olympic Club.

  • Gavin Tiernan, a sophomore at East Tennessee State, finished runner-up at the Amateur Championship and performed strongly in the Home Internationals.

  • Tyler Weaver, now at Florida State, played in the U.S. Open and represented GB&I in the Arnold Palmer Cup and St Andrews Trophy.

Cypress Point last hosted the Walker Cup in 1981 when the United States won 15–9. The Americans lead the overall series 39–9–1.
