Grinnell's balanced performance across their lineup secured their place atop the leaderboard, but with just a handful of strokes separating the top teams, the championship is still wide open. Middlebury, Emory, and Williams remain in striking distance, while several other programs are within range to make a move in round two.

The projected cut line is not yet official, but will come into focus after the second round, where the top 15 teams and top six individuals not on advancing teams will continue to compete for the national title.

What's Next:

Day two will be critical as teams battle for positioning ahead of the cut. With the margin so tight, every stroke will matter.
