Anderson University and  CSUSM Leads After Day One at NCAA DII Women’s Golf Championship

The 2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championship commenced with a competitive first round, as Anderson University (SC) surged to the top of the leaderboard. The Trojans and Cougars  posted a team score of 8-under par, establishing an early lead and showcasing strong contributions across their lineup.

Flagler College sits just one stroke back at 7-under, while Cal State San Marcos (CSUSM) is in third at 5-under. Dallas Baptist University (DBU) and Cal State East Bay are tied for fourth at 3-under, rounding out a tightly packed top five.

In the individual standings, Anderson’s Zoey Iglesias and CSU East Bay’s Torrie Bowman share the lead after impressive 5-under rounds. Both players capitalized on solid ball striking and steady putting to distance themselves from the field.

Three players are tied for third at 4-under: Olivia Stoll of Grand Valley State, Ella Cheek of Dallas Baptist, and Anna Nomrowski of West Texas A&M. With just one shot separating the trio from the top spot, the individual race remains wide open heading into the second round.
