Forster and Morrison Share Lead After Round One of U.S. Men’s Amateur

Charlie Forster of England and Long Beach State University alumnus and Tommy Morrison of the University of Texas share the lead after the opening round of the U.S. Men’s Amateur Championship at The Olympic Club, each shooting a four under par 66.

Logan Reilly of Auburn University and Preston Stout of Oklahoma State University are one shot back in a tie for third at three under par 67.

Six players are tied for fifth at two under par 68: Ryan Downes of Vanderbilt University, Eric Lee of Oklahoma State University, Jackson Koivun of Auburn University, Davis Johnson of the University of Utah, Arni Sveinsson of Louisiana State University representing Iceland, and Daniel Svard of Northwestern University representing Sweden.
