Division I Golf Weekly Recap: Champions and Standout Performances

OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational

Course: Olympia Fields Country Club – Olympia Fields, Illinois
Winner: Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State rallied from a 10-shot deficit to capture the team title at Olympia Fields, finishing at -6 for a two-stroke victory. Tim Wiedemeyer of Texas Tech earned individual medalist honors at -6, while Oklahoma State’s Gaven Lane finished inside the top three at -5.



Mason Rudolph Women’s Championship

Course: Vanderbilt Legends Club – Franklin, Tennessee
Winner: Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt claimed the championship at -15. Mississippi State’s Samantha Whateley secured individual medalist honors at -9. Ava Merrill of Vanderbilt placed second at -6, with teammates Elizabeth Rudisill, Tillie Claggett, and Angelina Tolentino also finishing inside the top 10.


William H. Tucker Invitational

Course: Championship Golf Course – Albuquerque, New Mexico
Winner: Long Beach State

Long Beach State earned the team title with a -23 total. New Mexico’s Emil Abers captured individual medalist honors. Jack Cantlay and Jaden Huggins of Long Beach State each placed inside the top 10.



Lady Paladin

Course: Furman University Golf Course – Greenville, South Carolina
Winner: Alabama

Alabama secured the championship at -18. Harriet Lockley of Alabama won individual medalist honors at -8, and teammate Ryan Flynn finished second.



Schooner Fall Classic

Course: Belmar Golf Course – Norman, Oklahoma
Winner: Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State captured another title with a -18 finish. Gracie McGovern of TCU and Sydney Givens of Georgia shared individual medalist honors.



Canadian Collegiate Invitational

Course: Beacon Hall Golf Course – Aurora, Ontario, Canada
Winner: Auburn

Auburn claimed the team title at -16. Veronika Kedroňová of Kent State earned individual medalist honors. Auburn’s Balma Davalos, Anne Fernandez, and Charlotte Cantonis each placed inside the top 10 to secure the team victory.


Golfweek Red Sky Classic

Course: Red Sky Golf Club- Fazio- Wolcott, CO
Winner: USC

USC took home the team title at the GolfWeek Red Sky Classic in Wolcott, Colorado. Topping the tournament with a -24. Kylie Chong and Jasmine Koo of USC were named co-champions and they set a tournament record with a total of 819.
