DI Weekly Recap: Tournament Winners

Welcome to another edition of the 2025–26 collegiate golf tournament winners recap for Division I. Here’s a look at the champions and standout performances from this past week and weekend.


2025 Rod Myers Invitational and John H. Ryan Memorial

Division: Division I Men’s Golf
Winner: Duke

Duke hosted and won the Rod Myers Invitational and John H Ryan Memorial at the Duke University Golf Course in Durham, North Carolina. John Logan of the University of North Carolina Wilmington took home individual medal honors, and Bryan Kim, Ethan Evans, and William Love all finished inside the top 10 for Duke.


Wolverine Inivitational

Division: Division I Women’s Golf
Winner: Kent State University

Kent State took home the first-place trophy at the Wolverine Invitational at the University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Pimkwan Chookaew of Iowa State took home individual medalist honors for Iowa State with a -5, and Leon Takagi lead the way with a +1.

Alex Lagowitz Invitational

Division: Division I Men’s Golf
Winner: Lehigh

Lehigh took home the first-place trophy at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial at the Steven Oaks Golf Course in Hamilton, NY. Noah Zyung led the way with a -9 for Lehigh to claim individual medalist honors.

Kent State took home the first-place trophy at the Wolverine Invitational at the University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Pimkwan Chookaew of Iowa State took home individual medalist honors for Iowa State with a -5, and Leon Takagi lead the way with a +1.


2025 Sahalee Players Championship

Division: Division I Men’s Golf
Winner: Arizona State University

Arizona State took home the first-place trophy at the 2025 Sahalee Players Championship in Sammamish, Washington. Winning by one stroke with a +3. Brady Siravo of Pepperdine took home individual medalist honors with a -3, and Michael Mjaaseth and Pongsapak Lapokadee both finished inside the top 10.


Cougar Classic

Division:
Division I Women’s Golf
Winner: Ole Miss

Ole Miss took home the first-place trophy at the Cougar Classic in Charleston, South Carolina. Winning by five strokes with a -15. Marie Madsen of NC State took home individualsit medalist honors, while Kajsalotta Svarvar and Mary Miller of Ole Miss, both finished inside the top 10.


The Metropolis Intercollegiate

Division:
Division I Men’s Golf
Winner: North Dakota State and Richmond

North Dakota State and Richmond shared the first-place trophy at the Metropolis Intercollegiate, hosted by Columbia University at Metropolis Country Club. The Bison and The Spiders finished at 867 (+27) to win the tournament.
