Cole Rueck Claims Idaho Amateur Title, Earns U.S. Amateur Exemption

Cole Rueck, an incoming senior at Boise State, captured the 97th Idaho Men’s Amateur Championship with a 10-under total of 206 at Jug Mountain Ranch in McCall, Idaho. Rueck fired rounds of 70, 68, and 68 to win by four strokes and secure the Scott Masingill Cup.

He was the only player in the field to shoot in the 60s during both weekend rounds. With the win, Rueck also earns a full exemption into the 2025 U.S. Amateur Championship, which will be played August 11 through 17 at The Olympic Club in San Francisco.

The victory marks a significant summer highlight for Rueck, who returns to lead Boise State in his final collegiate season this fall.
