CGN to Live Stream 2025 Chicago Adaptive Open at Fox Bend in June

The Chicago District Golf Association (CDGA) will host the second annual Chicago Adaptive Open on June 21–22, 2025, at Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego, Illinois, and for the second year in a row, CGN will proudly provide the live stream coverage of this inspiring and competitive event.

“There are so many inspirational stories within the adaptive golf community,” said CDGA Executive Director Robert Markionni. “Partnering with College Golf Network to produce a live stream of the 2nd Chicago Adaptive Open allows us to give these individuals the notoriety they deserve. We look forward to building upon the success of last year’s inaugural event and stream.”

“We’re honored to be broadcasting the Chicago Adaptive Open for the second year in a row and excited to bring the coverage to Fox Bend Golf Course for the first time. This championship represents the best of competitive spirit and inclusion in golf. Partnering again with the CDGA to showcase these remarkable athletes to a global audience is something we’re truly proud of.” Doug Rios Ceballos, EVP at CGN

A Championship Rooted in Inclusion and Excellence

Launched in 2024, the Chicago Adaptive Open is quickly becoming a premier stage for elite adaptive golfers. The 36-hole stroke play championship includes a $30,000 purse and features competition across 15 Sports Classifications that accommodate a broad range of physical and intellectual disabilities, including visual impairments, limb differences, and short stature.

Participants will also earn points toward the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability (WR4GD), solidifying the event’s growing significance on the adaptive golf calendar.

New in 2025: Pro-Am and Expanded Community Focus

In addition to the main event, the weekend will include a Charity Pro-Am on Friday, June 20. The Pro-Am gives participants a chance to play alongside adaptive golfers in a more relaxed setting, helping to build community awareness and support.

CGN Returns to the Booth

CGN is excited to once again bring live coverage of the championship to fans and families around the country. The 2025 Chicago Adaptive Open marks CGN’s second consecutive year broadcasting the event, reaffirming its commitment to inclusive storytelling and expanding the reach of adaptive golf.
