Alabama’s William Jennings Earns Ben Hogan Award September Golfer of the Month

Alabama sophomore William Jennings was selected as the Ben Hogan Award September Golfer of the Month, marking the third straight SEC player to receive the honor.

Jennings posted two victories in three starts, winning the Folds of Honor Collegiate at four under and tying for first at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational at one under. He also finished 39th at the OFCC Fighting Illini Invitational, averaging 70.44 over nine rounds and collecting 37.3 World Amateur Golf Ranking points for the month.

Ben James (Virginia) and Tim Wiedemeyer (Texas Tech) were also finalists. The award, presented annually by The Ben Hogan Award and Baird, recognizes the top collegiate golfer across all levels of competition.
