Lehigh has named Dustin Meadows the new head coach of its men’s golf program, bringing in a coach who won three consecutive conference championships during his time at Piedmont University.

Meadows spent the previous three seasons leading Piedmont in Georgia. His teams captured a conference championship in each season and advanced to the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament in each of the past two years.

He was also named the Collegiate Conference of the South Coach of the Year in 2025. Ten Piedmont golfers earned All CCS recognition during his tenure, while Braden Kiley received the conference’s Rookie of the Year honor in 2026. Adam Rogers earned GCAA PING All Region recognition last season.

Coaching Experience

Before taking over at Piedmont, Meadows served as the head coach at St. Andrews University in North Carolina.

His college coaching career began as an assistant at Longwood in 2018. Meadows later worked with the men’s and women’s programs at Ottawa University in Arizona during the 2019 to 2020 season.

His coaching background dates to 2008 at Prince Edward High School. He has also worked as an assistant golf professional at Broad Bay Country Club, Spring Creek and Poplar Grove Golf Course.

Meadows served in the U.S. Marines from 2005 through 2011 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in biblical studies from Amridge University in 2016.

New Era at Lehigh

Meadows succeeds Henry D’Alberto, who stepped away after 20 seasons as Lehigh’s head coach. D’Alberto guided the Mountain Hawks to two Patriot League championships and NCAA Regional appearances during his tenure.

Meadows will begin his first season with the Mountain Hawks when Lehigh competes at The Doc Gimmler on Sept. 12 and 13 at Bethpage State Park. The tournament is hosted by St. John’s.
