25 players have been named to the 2027 Haskins Award preseason watch list as the 2026-2027 men’s college golf season begins.
The Haskins Award presented by Stifel recognizes the top player in men’s college golf. College golfers, coaches and members of the college golf media vote on the award, while a panel of college golf media selected the players for the preseason watch list.
A new winner will take home the award in 2027 after Auburn’s Jackson Koivun captured it in each of the past two seasons. Koivun won six times during the 2025 to 2026 collegiate season before turning professional and winning the 3M Open in his third professional start.
Florida leads the preseason list with three players: Luke Poulter, Zackary Swanwick and Jack Turner.
Auburn, Arizona State, North Carolina, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech each have two players represented.
The watch list also includes several prominent returning players, including Oklahoma State’s Preston Stout, BYU’s Kihei Akina and Stanford’s Jay Leng Jr.
