West Virginia Wins Pearl at Kalauao Invitational in Hawaii

West Virginia capped a strong fall stretch by winning the Pearl at Kalauao Invitational at Pearl Country Club, finishing at 21 under par to secure the team title.

The Mountaineers pulled away in the final round to top UC San Diego, which finished 10 under, and Augusta, which placed third at 7 under. Host Hawaii took fourth at 4 under, while Wichita State rounded out the top five at 2 over.

UC San Diego’s Nathan Tseng earned medalist honors after posting rounds of 69, 69, and 68 to finish at 10 under par. West Virginia’s Kaleb Wilson and Nicholas Turowski both placed inside the top five to lead the Mountaineers to victory.
