Round One Preview – Chicago Adaptive Open
The third annual Chicago Adaptive Open begins Saturday, June 21, at Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego, Illinois. Conducted by the Chicago District Golf Association, the tournament is one of the most inclusive adaptive golf events in the country and is sanctioned under the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability (WR4GD) system.
The championship features a 36-hole stroke-play format over two days. Competitors are grouped by gender and sport classification, based on standards set by the United States Adaptive Golf Alliance (USAGA). All players must carry a Handicap Index and a WR4GD pass.
