Murr and Kuo Named 2025 WGCA Inkster Award Winners
The Women’s Golf Coaches Association announced Madison Murr of Cal State San Marcos and Sydney Kuo of Washington University in St. Louis as the 2025 Inkster Award recipients for Division II and Division III.
Murr, a redshirt senior, won five events this season, including the NCAA Division II Championship and the CCAA title. She was named CCAA Golfer of the Year and ended her career with 10 collegiate wins, 21 top-three finishes, and 32 top-10s. She also earned three WGCA All-American honors and was twice recognized as an All-American Scholar.
TKuo, a graduate student, is the first WashU golfer to win the award. She was a four-time UAA Player of the Year and four-time WGCA First Team All-American. Kuo finished seventh at the 2025 NCAA Division III Championship, her third top-10 finish at nationals. She recently earned her degree in economics and strategy with minors in business analytics and computer science.
The Inkster Award, named for LPGA legend Juli Inkster, is presented to the top-ranked senior in each division based on Golfstat standings.
