Central Michigan’s Host Role

Central Michigan serves as the host school, led by head coach Kevin Jennings, whose ties to Point O’ Woods date back to his years as a caddie at the club. Jennings and his brother JJ were mentored by Jim DeLapa and his son Tony, making the event’s launch a full-circle moment for the family.

A New Chapter for Point O’ Woods

Point O’ Woods has long been synonymous with elite amateur golf through its history with the Western Amateur. The introduction of the Jim DeLapa Collegiate builds on that tradition, giving top programs and players a stage at one of the game’s most respected venues.
