Koivun’s week included a second round 66 that vaulted him into contention. His performance against a strong professional field builds on a standout sophomore season at Auburn, where he was named SEC Player of the Year for the second straight time, earned PING First Team All-American honors, and finished the year ranked number three nationally by Clippd. He also became the third player to secure a PGA TOUR card through the PGA TOUR U Accelerated program.
Already a two-time Arnold Palmer Cup selection, Koivun was part of the winning 2025 Walker Cup team for Team USA. His consistency and ability to contend against professionals further establish him as one of the premier players in amateur golf.
