Drew Coble Standout Star in DII Men’s Golf

Drew Coble, a graduate of Orion High School in Lake Orion, Michigan, has established himself as one of the top golfers in NCAA Division II. According to Clippd, he is currently ranked as the No. 3 Division II golfer. His impressive performances have earned him numerous accolades, including PING First Team All-American honors and the title of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Golfer of the Year.

Before joining Grand Valley State, Coble was a 2018 state qualifier and a First Team All-State selection. Since arriving at GVSU, his career has been nothing short of remarkable.

Coble’s consistency on the course has led to an array of honors, including GLIAC Freshman of the Year, PING All-Region recognition, and First Team All-GLIAC. He was recently named a finalist for the Jack Nicklaus DII National Player of the Year and earned the prestigious GLIAC Commissioner’s Award. His dedication extends beyond golf, as he has also been recognized for his academic excellence as a member of the GLIAC Academic All-Excellence Team.

Now in his final year of eligibility as a graduate student, Coble looks to cap off his collegiate career with his best season yet.
