DIII Weekly Recap #2: Tournament Winners

Welcome to this week's edition of the 2025–26 collegiate golf tournament winners recap for Division III. Here’s a look at the champions and standout performances from this past weekend.


Carleton Fall Invite

Division: Division III Women’s Golf
Winner: Carleton

Carleton hosted and won the Carleton Fall Invite at the Bellwood Oaks Golf Course in Hastings, Minnesota, finishing with a team score of +44 to win by 13 strokes. Carter Sichol took home medalist honors for Carleton, and four other team members of Carletonon finished inside the top 10 as well.

Wartburg Fall Invite
Division:
Division III Women’s Golf
Winner: University of Wisconsin- Stout

University of Wisconsin- Stout took home first-place honors at the Wartburg Fall Invitational at the Prairie Links Golf and Events Center in Waverly, Iowa, finishing with a +31. Julia Imai took home medalist honors for the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Minnesota Golf Classic

Division: Division III Men’s Golf
Winner: Gustavus Adolphus

Gustavus Adolphus claimed the first-place trophy at the Minnesota Golf Classic in Pioneer Creek Golf Course in Maple Plaine, Minnesota, finishing with +6 and winning by six strokes. Jeffrey Zatrorski of Rutgers (Indiana)  took home the medalist of the tournament. Christopher Gutuza of  Gustavus Adolphus shot a 63 in round three to help catapult Gustavus to first place.

4th Annual George Cangero Invitational

Division: Division III Men’s
Winner: Swartmore

Swartmore took first place at the George Cangero Invitational at Eisenhow Park Golf Course in East Meadow, New York, finishing with an even par to win the tournament. Chi Yeung Michael Yeun took home medalist honors for Swarthmore with a -6.

Kyle Campbell Memorial Tournament 

Division:
Division III Women’s
Winner: Kalamazoo

Kalamazoo took home first place at the Kyle Campbell Memorial Tournament at the Medalist Golf Course in Marshall, Michigan, with a +63, winning by 21 strokes. Rylee Smith from Trine took home medalist honors, while Jacey Merkle, Jillian Smith, and Ellie Britt all finished inside the top 10 for Kalamazoo.


Transylvania Women's Golf Kickoff Classic



Division:
Division III Women’s
Winner: Denison

Denison took home first place at the Transylvania Women’s Golf Kickoff Classic at the University Club of Kentucky, with a +11, winning by eight strokes. Erin Donovan from Piedmont took home individual medalist honors, while Siena Maschke, Lizzy Grant, and Anna Klass all finished inside the top 10 for Denison.
