Carter Mishler: A Rising Talent Aiming for a Standout Season

Ashland, a junior from Berlin, Ohio, and a graduate of Hiland High School, has established himself as an up-and-coming talent in men’s golf. He is currently ranked #35 in NCAA Division II men's golf according to Clippd and has been selected to the All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference team for the second consecutive year.

Before enrolling in college, Ashland played a key role in leading Hiland to two OHSAA Division III state championships in 2019 and 2021 at Ohio State University’s Scarlet Course. The 2019 title marked the first state championship in the program’s history. He was also named Inter-Valley Conference Player of the Year.

Mishler’s consistency on and off the course has earned him two Great Midwest Academic All-Conference honors, as well as recognition as a Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selection. Additionally, he was named Great Midwest Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and earned All-Conference honors.

Now in his junior year, Carter is focused on making this season his best yet!
