Big Performances and Playoff Drama Define This Week in Division III Golf

Welcome to this week's edition of the 2025–26 collegiate golf tournament winners recap for Division III. Here’s a look at the champions and standout performances from this past weekend.



Women’s NCAA Preview

Division: Division III Women’s Golf
Winner: Claremont-Mudd-Scripps

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps captured first-place honors at the NCAA Women’s Preview at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California, finishing at -16. Emma Wong earned medalist honors, while teammates Cecilia Jia and Alyssa Lim finished second and third, respectively.



Duke Nelson Invitational

Division: Division III Men’s Golf
Winner: Amherst

Amherst secured first place at the Duke Nelson Invitational at Ralph Myhre Golf Course with a team total of +16. Jack Berry of Babson claimed medalist honors, while Amherst’s Thomas Zhang and Jan Ebbinge both finished inside the top five.



4th Annual Forest Hills Invitational

Division: Division III Men’s Golf
Winner: Spalding

Spalding edged Wabash in a playoff tiebreaker to win at Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond, Indiana, finishing with a team score of +61. Luke LeBourdias of Anderson won medalist honors in a playoff, while Ben Laurin-Seidel and Brady Westwood both placed in the top 10.

D3 Classic

Division: Division III Women’s Golf
Winner: Macalester

Macalester claimed first-place honors at the D3 Classic at Emerald Greens Golf Course in Hastings, Minnesota, with a +32 team score. Individually, Bailey Lengfelder of Macalester tied for medalist honors with Julia Imai of UW–Stout at +1.



Whitworth Fall Invitational

Division: Division III Men’s Golf
Winner: Willamette

Willamette earned first place at the Whitworth Fall Invitational at Indian Canyon Golf Course in Spokane, Washington, finishing at -4. Matthew Durkin of Whitworth was medalist at -6, and six Willamette players finished inside the top 10.


Wrigglesworth Blugold Invite

Division: Division III Men’s Golf
Winner: Illinois Wesleyan

Illinois Wesleyan took home first-place honors at the Wrigglesworth Blugold Invite with a +17 at Eau Claire Golf and Country Club in Altoona, Wisconsin. Gavin Grehek of Saint John’s (MN) earned medalist honors at -1, while Illinois Wesleyan’s Michael Spitzer and Myles Lehart both finished inside the top 10.
