Ben James, William Jennings, and Tim Wiedemeyer Named September Finalists for Ben Hogan Award Golfer of the Month

Virginia’s Ben James, Alabama’s William Jennings, and Texas Tech’s Tim Wiedemeyer have been selected as finalists for the Ben Hogan Award September Golfer of the Month after standout performances across major fall events.

James tied for first at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational at one under and placed third at The Invitational at the Honors Course at five under while representing Team USA in the Walker Cup.

Jennings won the Folds of Honor Collegiate at four under and tied for first at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational, averaging 70.44 across nine rounds.

Wiedemeyer captured the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational at six under and tied for sixth at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational, averaging 69.00 for the month.

The Ben Hogan Award presented by Baird annually recognizes the top collegiate golfer based on college, amateur, and professional results throughout the competitive season.
