Weekly Recap: Tournament Winners

Welcome to this week’s tournament winners’ recap. Here’s a look at the top collegiate golf performances from the past week.


UC San Diego Invitational

Division: D1 Men’s Golf
Winner: New Mexico State took home the first-place prize at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, California. The Aggies shot a combined five-under to finish the week with a total score of 885 (+21) on the Torrey Pines South Course.


Hootie Intercollegiate

Division: D1 Men’s Golf
Winner: Purdue claimed first place at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, South Carolina. The Boilermakers had two players finish in the top five and won the event on an extra hole to secure the team victory.

Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational

Division: D1 Men’s Golf
Winner: Tohoku Fukushi secured the win at Silverado Country Club in Napa, California. Led by Koichiro Furuse, who also captured the individual championship, the team shot a 23-under 841 to take first place.


The Stack Cougar-Burro Collegiate

Division: D2 Men’s Golf
Winner: Colorado Christian earned the title at Verrado Golf Course in Buckeye, Arizona. Adam Duncan secured the individual title, and the team posted a combined score of 831 (277, 288, 266) to finish 33-under-par, besting 13 other teams.


NSIC Preview Invitational

Division: D2 Men’s Golf
Winner: Concordia-St. Paul captured its fourth win of the season at Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs, Missouri. The team finished with a total score of 572 (-4).


Pinetree Women's Collegiate

Division: D1 Women’s Golf
Winner: Texas Tech earned the victory at Pinetree Country Club, led by Klara Hurtova, who claimed individual medalist honors for the second straight tournament and helped guide the Red Raiders to the team title.


Georgia State Invitational

Division: D1 Women’s Golf
Winner: Queens University took home first place at Rivermont Golf Club in Johns Creek, Georgia, finishing 30-over-par. This marks the Royals’ second straight team win—the first time they’ve done so since the 2015–16 season.


Kingsmill Intercollegiate

Division: D1 Women’s Golf
Winner: Radford claimed the first-place trophy at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia. The team dominated with a +5 overall score across three rounds. Macy Johnson won the individual title and became the first student-athlete in school history to earn three tournament victories.


Lady Bearcat Invitational

Division: D2 Women’s Golf
Winner: Wingate captured both the team and individual honors at the Greenwood Country Club in South Carolina. Freshman Amely Bochaton led the Bulldogs to the win at 13-over-par, finishing six strokes ahead of the field.


Patsy Rendleman Invitational

Division: D2 Women’s Golf
Winner: Tampa University secured the team title in Salisbury, North Carolina, finishing with a total score of 888 (292, 290, 306). Justine Bayle won the individual championship with a seven-over total (68, 73, 79) to finish at 220.
